Balloon arches aren’t just for decoration, they’re one of the smartest ways to guide how guests move through your space.
Whether you’re planning a birthday, baby shower, corporate or brand event, balloon arches can help create a sense of structure, direct attention, and make your setup feel more cohesive. If you’re considering one for your next event in Sydney, this guide will show you how to use balloon arches as a functional styling element, not just a visual extra.

What Types of Balloon Arches Are There?
- Classic Balloon Arches: these are your traditional, symmetrical archways that are perfect for stage framing or entrance ways. They offer a clean, uniform look and can be colour-blocked or multi-coloured depending on your palette and the different patterns we can offer.
- Organic Arches: these use varied balloon sizes and asymmetrical shapes to create flow and softness. Our organic garland design but on a full arch, ideal for birthdays, baby showers, or brand launches where you want elegance and creativity in one piece.
- Half Arches: these are similar to garlands, except that they come on a freestanding, disposable frame, removing the need to hire a backdrop. They are designed as a backdrop size, but can be adjusted to suit your area. The standard size is 2.2m high by 1.8m across the top. We can customize to any colour combination. Ideal as a backdrop, standing over a cake table, to frame entries, or your logo.
- Custom Arches: you can find some examples by following this link. We have Minnie and Mickey Mouse arches, Hello Kitty and more. Contact us, and we will bring your idea to life.
